This was SUCH a satisfying one for me because we were able to get this WHOLE thing done in one day!! 😭❤️ Jen and Eric had been dealing with this buildup for about three years. Their garage was already completely overflowing, so naturally things started making their way into the driveway. They said the porch was initially a place to store drinks. And over time, more and more stuff (eventually trash) accumulated. Then it became this cycle where they needed to clean out the garage, but they couldn’t even really GET to the garage because the driveway in front of it was full. And with everything else going on in their lives, it just kept getting pushed to later. Jen and Eric also both deal with some pretty significant health issues. Jen has had a stroke in the past and deals with chronic spinal issues, and Eric is a retired military veteran with severe MS. So a project this physically demanding is A LOT. Even with all of that, they really wanted to be involved in the entire process and help as much as they could. I tried to make sure we took breaks and that Jen sat down when she needed to because I did NOT want either of them completely destroying themselves trying to get this done. The HOA had actually sent them a letter that the outside needed to be cleaned up, so they really need to get this done. I was basically there to help guide the process, keep us moving, help with some of the decisions they’d been stuck on, clear out the trash, load up the truck and finally get their driveway and porch usable again. And WE DID IT!! 🙌😭❤️ The entire driveway was cleared, the porch was cleaned up, and most importantly, they could finally access their garage so they could start tackling that next. I’m wondering if I should come back help them with that too ❤️ #cleaning #driveway #porch #organization #howlongdoesitactuallytake
