I hate the whole “bpd is the most painful illness” stuff I have bipolar disorder and bpd, not to discreet anyone but my bipolar disorder genuinely ruins me. I also have ocd so severe it can stop me from existing for days, no illness is worse than others you cannot measure that. It makes me so mad

I’ve seen other people, in the hospital and out, with other illnesses. Saying bpd is the worst is kinda tone deaf, ESPECIALLY, if they e been around others. Like med resistant schizophrenia, untreated bipolar 1 with psychotic features, schytzo-effective disorders, and others I can’t remember the name of. Yes bpd is miserable, and the dread is awful. But there is always a way to help ourselves. The pain I’ve seen people feel because they have no control over their illness is heartbreaking, and all they wanted was to be healthy and ‘normal’

It’s so unfair to say that BPD is the most painful mental illness cus it takes away from the real suffering of other people with different disorders. Having BPD is very hard but you don’t have to be the worst to be valid.

I’m 100% open to being corrected or hearing other peoples opinions but I feel like everything people say about bpd (like the example in the video) is only half true. It’s like they take the most extreme parts of it and run with it. Like everything in the video she’s using has SOME truth to it but it’s definitely not how bpd should be explained or portrayed.

I was talking to my best friend once and I mentioned the whole FP thing to her that I struggle with. I told her that she definitely wasn’t and I was so grateful for that. She seemed upset and sad till I explained what an FP is to a person with BPD and then she was understanding. But…yeah. I love hard. But I also don’t wish a good amount of my FP tendencies on anyone. Including me 😅 Idk why people romanticize this condition. It’s HELL. For like all involved. Thank you for your help with education. It means the world 🩵 You’re amazing. Keep it up!!
