I walked away after yearssss of this. “Too sensitive, too emotional, causing drama” and then being gaslight every time I’d bring something up that was hurtful. 6 months after no contact, received a vm telling me I was still causing drama… after being silent for months. This was confirmation that no matter what I do, I’m a problem for them. Even in my absence and silence. Your words described this exact dynamic for me so well. Thank you.
