If you KNOW you can solve their problem and you let them walk because you’re afraid of being “pushy”…
 That’s not kindness.
 That’s selfishness.
 They gave you 45 minutes. They told you what’s wrong. They told you what it’s costing them. They told you they’re tired of living with it.
 You diagnosed the problem. You have the solution.
 And then they say, “I need to think about it” and you immediately fold?
 Come on.
 Great salespeople don’t manipulate people into bad decisions.
 They have the courage, skill, and CONVICTION to help people make the right decision when fear, uncertainty, or indecision gets in the way.
 If your product sucks — don’t sell it. If it’s wrong for them — tell them. If they genuinely can’t afford it — don’t bury them financially for a commission check.
 But if you KNOW you can help them?

 Your job isn’t to be liked.
 Your job is to help people solve problems they already told you they want solved.
