At the age of eleven, he published his first book, "Fadak to History." It is noteworthy that Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Haidar Ismail al-Sadr was more intelligent than others his age, clearly possessing an innate, divinely inspired intelligence. He was distinguished by his ability to analyze and study all ideas, turning them to his advantage and refuting the arguments of atheists. Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr was martyred at a relatively young age, yet he left behind a body of knowledge sufficient for a century. We continue to respond to atheists using his methodology. From Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr emerged the greatest scholar, philosopher, interpreter of religious texts, and reformer: Sayyid Kamal al-Haidari. Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr was martyred at the hands of Saddam Hussein because he opposed Saddam's killing of Sunnis, Shiites, Kurds, and Christians. Thus, Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr shaped the consciousness of the people.
