Except you’re not supposed to pour floor leveler on top of tile. It’s not a skim coat. This is ardex floor leveler.

Just do it correctly. A small demo hammer and a spade bit is cheap to rent. Also, if your contractor is suggesting this, fire them and find someone who knows what they’re doing.
