i would argue that they aren’t even stupid, they relished in the pain, suffering, and deaths of other people and they’re only crying wolf because the doors are closing in on them as well. that level of willful malice makes them beyond redemption imo.

my mother voted for that evil man also, her boyfriend is definitely the problem he's brainwashed her for years, I'm mixed also I'm native and white, I've been grieving my living mother for years and definitely felt that girl when she said "who are you? where did my mom go?!" 🥺

my parents tried to have me committed for standing up to them when that didnt work they went after my kids when I was homeless fought the court system for 3 years trying to get them back ,when i did win safe to say im no contact

The part that truly hit me as someone who has a MAGA father that I used to love dearly as a kid was when she said “Who are you? Get out of my mother. It’s like you died and came back possessed.” Bc that’s how I feel about my father knowing he’s against abortion, even in cases of r//pe, as well as knowing he has voted for Trump thrice.

My dad voted for Trump and I cut him out of my life. Everyone thought I was heartless until recently (some still think it). No apology, no acknowledgement. I bet when he dies and I don't mourn I'm called a monster. At least my nieces and nephews will one day understand how bad it was and why it was hard to be in their lives.
