The number one advantage a human has over a chimp is a big brain that should allow us to know when we shouldn't fight an animal that will rip our faces off. Not engaging in a fight with a chimp is the number one way to avoid losing to a chimp.

All this and you didn’t even mention the insane bite force! One bite from a chimp to a hand/foot/arm/leg and I don’t think a human is fighting through that level of pain. And those locations are best case scenario. A bite to the neck/face and it’s over even quicker..

while I'm sure that its possible for some select humans to take out a chimpanzee, it's highly unlikely. humans evolved to use endurance and tools and our brains. pound for pound, we are usually outmatched
