@filmsofun: Aron Ralston is an American mountaineer and outdoorsman who became known worldwide after surviving a life-threatening accident in 2003. While hiking alone in Bluejohn Canyon, Utah, his right arm became trapped beneath a large boulder. After spending five days trapped with little food and water, he made the desperate decision to amputate his own arm in order to survive. Despite severe injuries, he managed to make his way out of the canyon and find help. Ralston later described his experience in his memoir Between a Rock and a Hard Place, which inspired the film 127 Hours, directed by Danny Boyle and starring James Franco. #aaronralston #127hours #jamesfranco
