I don’t think he deserved to die. I don’t think he was a bad person, however there is a big difference between being happy that he died and making jokes about it. My birthday is on 9/11, one day after he died and on the anniversary of 9/11. I’ve heard countless jokes about my birthday, and it comes from all people. Democrats, republicans, blacks, whites, Mexicans, Arabs etc. I can guarantee no one is happy that 9/11 happened, however making humor out of it is different. With that being said, even tho I reposted mani ai slop of Charlie Kirk before, or I’ve made jokes about it. I’ll keep it respectful, he was a man which I didn’t agree on all the time, we had different views. Around 2023 I remember hating this man, he would make me mad and I even wish he died. However in 2024, I started actually watching his debates with other people, and even if I didn’t like sometimes how he talked about immigrants(I’m an illegal immigrant and also Mexican btw). I understood his point of view, not only that, the way he would talk with reasoning instead of emotions change my whole view about him. And I slowly started to realize I agree with his views. After he died, it felt weird. It was a person I kinda looked up at, he also had family and close friends. People who he never had a chance to say goodbye to, it was a quick death. I was basically on shock, however going into instagram and realizing many people were happy about it, or saying they didn’t feel bad about him dying really messed me up. On September 10, I wouldn’t post anything disrespectful or any mocking about him. It’s not the time for that, Rest in peace Charlie Kirk.
