I started painting her, its a work in progress and I have it placed on the altar but I have received signs that she loves it more than the statue I purchased. I assume because its more meaningful to our connection. I also love to share my morning teas with her 🍵☕️

my husband gave her a teal plastic duck and I will give her anything that has to do with Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas, because he is a ghost and a very loyal hound. She also has a little wooden paper holder that says Dog Mom on it. So far no complaints, that I can tell.

I donate blood at the Red Cross. I used to donate to animal shelters but when I was low on money I asked her for a budget-friendly suggestion. I started getting mail from the Red Cross. It’s like a sacrifice because I’m scared to death of needles and it’s fulfilling because I’m giving back to my community.

On Deipnon, I offer her my grocery receipt as an act of service from the donations we make to local shelters in her honor. For food and drink, she seems to really dig Martinique 15yr-aged rhum, Powerade, and flourless chocolate cake. 😋

A frozen dark chocolate bar She loves it but you have to put it in the freezer for like 4-5 hours but since I did it once now She wants it done it every time don’t open it tho 70% dark chocolate is what I use

Poetry about the pain, loss & betrayal I experienced, dedicated to my future stronger self. I read it to her each week while working with Hekate Borborophorba for 6 months while healing myself, she loved it. She asked me to read it to her once a year thereafter to remind myself that those experiences only made me stronger & that each lesson learned from it helped shape me into who I am today.

She loves Haitian rhum 😁 She also loves all my Haitian cooking. She seems to really like Haitian hot pepper salad - pikliz My family is Haitian, so she knows how important it is to me. I think that's part of it. It's valuable to me, so it's valuable to her.

I don’t know if this is considered less traditional, but this is the first thought that came to mind— I recently had a really tough therapy session that dealt with doing some intense shadow work. When I got home I burst into tears when I got to my altar and just sat with her there. I’ve never felt her presence stronger than in that moment. She just sat with me as I offered her that shadow work I did and I had this strong sense that she was proud of me. I also lit some frankincense incense as I sat with her for a physical offering.
