The knuckle joint puts this pretty far back early 1700s but the handmade nails would bring it further into late 1700s but they could be added and it looks like mortise and tenon so could go back to the early 1700s so for me the top would give the best clue , is is a large single piece or is it 2 halves

screws... I can't tell if machined... Square headed nails. I think this is Victorian, but not sure of decade. So, latish 1800s.
