Ok I’m clearly in the minority, but I agree with her. Like obviously sometimes people have shit that comes up and might have to to leave early for any number of reasons. And if someone leaves quietly, ok fine. But when people start packing up or walk in front of the instructor, it’s distracting. And if you’re going to something you know you don’t have time for and you make it a habit of always leaving early, then yeah- don’t go. I work and I don’t go to classes when I know I won’t have time to get ready for work. Like why is it so insane to say don’t go to things you don’t have time for?

As a multiple Pilates studio owner I feel I’ve got some insight on this - sometimes clients need to leave early. They almost always let the instructor know in advance and it’s fine. If they don’t then it’s likely an emergency and we are checking in with them after. Other clients can mind their fucking business. Full Stop.
