I rarely invite anyone else to ride with me anymore. I just ride. I stop to fill the tank and empty my bladder and then ride some more. After 2 or 3 hours I might take a little while to grab a bite or enjoy a refreshing beverage and then it's more riding. My girlfriend with *occasionally* do this with me, but she's much more destination oriented. The local riding group just wants to ride around town and then sit at a restaurant for 2 hours. hard pass.

Yep, totally relate. These days I do most of my adventuring on my own. I’m going that way or that general location. And make shit up as go, all the while enjoying the hell out of it.
