I have a Hecate alter in my witch room and an Aphrodite alter in my bedroom. One time I went to put and offering on Hecate’s alter and it was a very distinct “give it to Aphrodite” energy 🤣🤣 There’s been a few times where they will switch my offerings

i dont really do physical offerings, i am audhd and feel like i forget to make physical offerings to Hekate, or even sometimes i dont give my altar the love it deserves. but i offer my actions to her, i chat to her in my in between time and mainly i feel like she is happy for me to have found my way of working with her. she really just wants us to be confident as we walk our paths, and not worry about the paths we could be walking instead. usually when i feel Hekate is unhappy with me its when i am not walking my own path. be confidently and authentically you and Hekate will work with you.

she only rejected an offering once. it was an orange. a fresh one that I just bought and it turned brown almost rotten the next day. food that dries out fast is an indicator to me that she accepted it.

I don’t think Hekate has ever rejected one of my offerings but she has definitely let me know she has preferences! During my interactions with her, she has shown me that she loves dark chocolate with sea salt, smoked salmon, goat cheese, grapes, and a few other items. But I’ve also left her sprigs of mint and rosemary from my garden and dandelions. And shots of tequila (she likes it).

The only thing that’s ever been questionable so far are raspberries. I don’t know what it is about them, but if I put those on the altar they mold same day. Maybe it’s a delicate fruit, or maybe she is not a fan lol. Either way, I don’t offer them anymore. 😅

I pay attention to candle flames behaving strangely. Incense not lighting/burning properly. Strange sudden smells. Of course also if something goes putrid way too fast. Once there was a lightning strike closeby (almost crapped myself!) as I made the offering. Yeah no, if anything like that happens (it's very rare though) I immediately remove it from my altar.

I'm offering her things I like. It is a sacrifice everytime I give her something I really, really want to eat. The last peace, goes to her. I don't remember her not accepting my offerings. maybe bcs of the thoughtful intent. Last time I gave her an orange, what is really rare bcs not every orange is perfectly good. but this time the whole package was like perfectly sweet and sour. I wanted to eat all of them but I gave up the last one to her. the candle went crazy, and when I tried to blow it, that didn't worked out. so it stayed like 4 hours burning. and the fascinating thing was that usually that length would burn down in like one hour but stayed the same for 4 hours. so I know it's energy for energy.

100% offered a bay leaf burning for guidance using a candle during a bath. The leaf jumped out of my hand and IMMEDIATELY got soaked in bath water. I still dried it off and forced it to burn, almost got myself singed a couple of times. Thinking about it afterwards, I realized I really was just doing too much and this was my sign to just STOP and chill too. I really needed that advice over the next couple of days too. So yeah I might've just fumbled, but the message was received either way and I'm grateful for it.

I just felt a No, this I don’t like, and every time I hear it my gaze went to her altar, i change it, and that was it,l. never happen again, but she was not mad, it just was comment from her. She likes celiac real cookies though. so, it’s not that she has a problem with it all jaja

I have to ask but I am pretty sure, through my cats. I left an offering cup and only added to it and not refreshed it. My cats had left it alone for a week then, boom knocked over..twice. If not that, I definitely took it as such and fixed it. The cats didn't seem to bother the new stuff. lol ♡

I got a thrifted porcelain figurine of an owl and it didn’t last 4 hours in the home before I broke it. People said “oh but we can glue it” but I had a feeling like “hm, no, I don’t think she liked it much. Better to let it go and find something else. I was not attached”.

ok: I agree with everything you said BUT... I have to admit; it made me sad and a little annoyed that there are people who think that wrath will come "out of anger". That's NEVER what authentic Gods/Goddesses do. It makes me feel sad for the ones who think that. It's just their journeys are "young"... (I guess is a word to describe)... Once you authentically feel and grow within yourself, you'll KNOW punishment isn't even in any picture!! ...... You're right about the offerings, it rarely happens that something gets knocked out of my hand... or slipped out... or all of a sudden; it got rotten.... or something to make it so that your offering wasn't accepted. The Deities KNOW more than we do and sometimes, the items we think are good to offer actually AREN'T. Bad energy can linger on ANYTHING. Offer things authentically.... and most anything will be accepted. If you authentically wanted to offer an item that had bad energy; that item will NOT BE ABLE TO BE OFFERED. No fear.... no feeling bad..... no worries of angering anyone.... Just be true to yourself and your Deit(y/ies). I made it to the end 🖤✨️🌿💙
