If you’ve spent hours labouring over a PowerPoint presentation, trying to get the story, the content, the flow and the design all working together, I’ve wasted plenty of hours doing exactly the same. There’s a real skill to it, and I’ll never pretend otherwise. So when Copilot in PowerPoint launched a feature that lets you upload a design you already love (an old deck, a client’s template, even something you’ve pulled from Canva) and have it replicate that whole look and feel, I nearly fell off my chair. But wait, there’s more. Once the design’s locked in, you can hand Copilot your rough notes or a bit of direction, and it writes the entire presentation, content and all, in that exact design. The bit I really love is that your brand work never gets thrown out. Most AI tools hand you their template, which is why every AI deck looks the same. This one starts with yours.
