The Horror of Stage 6 still remains incomprehensively heavy to me. This Section of the caretakers Work appears to be almost an exact polar opposite of the Former Stage. Instead of Severe confusion and Panic setting in every few Seconds accompanied by Short Bursts of clarity, None of that remains. Everything that once painted the Silhouette of a living being, every trait has suddenly vanished Into the vast emptiness of space. This Part of the Album is the best depiction of a mental vaccum which every once in a while emits a Strong droning Echo, highlighting a bookshelve with blank books. By now everything that Made you be yourself, every minoscule Detail defining your specific personality ceases to exist. All this also raises the very question of when exactly consciousness fades and If
inner experiences still persist in such vegetative State. Even the messy landscape of denial and Anger or any other Emotion are flattened Out, you could argue that there is a hint of a feeling in the aggressive droning that Fights it's way Into the foreground, however I may Interpret it as the Sole Aftermath of an exhausting Battle that could never have been won. As I wrote in my previous Analysis, the emotional Connection stays alive but The meaning goes extinct. The very concept of a thought has been drowned in the sea of deterioation, as the Track Title, "a confusion so thick you Forget forgetting", suggests. It may Sound paradox but it's literally signifying the fact, that Base Code (the 1's and 0's of the brain) Renders unfunctional, consequently stripping the brain of any logical thought. That doesnt mean that Anger as a reaction cannot appear such late Into Stage 6, however the concept and it's Connection to an Emotion has Long faded, the Amygdala which is the instinctive Domain of Our brains may still be capable of identifying threats and evoking Strong Emotions, but without a purpose. Clarities are extremly Brief and one-dimmensional, they appear as a single Piano Note, that stretches Into eternity or a trumpet segment consisting of a Singular Note.
