I saw an RN say that a nurse would never crush pills, I had to laugh. I worked in pharmacy for 40yrs and people will crush, chew snort pills to get them to work faster.

I know this is complex,but it’s so frustrating to keep seeing “the system failed her” when she also had extraordinary access to care, resources, insurance, & family support…access that most women, especially Black women & other marginalized mothers, could never access. Just in er 3 weeks ago kidney transplant patient so pain medication is limited what I can take in pain 7 hours finally another doctor cane in said very loudly you offered her ibuprofen she declined and that was suspicious he said she had a fucking kidney transplant that is not suspicious he ordered that dilaudid so fast I passed out 😂😂 he was in the hall yelling
