The evidence shows it has nothing to do with her. And she is the winner here. 😂

David Marumbao did not initially claim the story was his own. He actually started by doing a "commentary style" or "storytelling" video where he was reacting to a viral text message script that was going around the internet.
In that initial phase, he presented it like many TikTok tea/drama accounts do: showing a screenshot of the alleged text message group chat where a man cancels his wedding over his fiancée's "Who cares?" comment about the Clancy children, and giving his own commentary over it.
It was only after that video started exploding into the millions of views that the narrative shifted, and public perception (along with general media reporting) began framing it as if he was the actual groom who called off the $200,000 wedding. This has led a lot of viewers online to debate whether the entire scenario was just a viral piece of creative text-fiction/creative writing that he reported on, which he then rode the wave of for views. 😂😂😂
