I get why going for berklies last activities is so important (bc it's the last time you'll do it), but I feel like the 7 year old travelling out of state would need your support more emotionally. And while her memory is short - you not being there for an important competition is something she'll definitely remember. But I'm a youngest child so maybe that's why I'm triggered by this 😭😭😭

i still remember the one gymnastics competition my mom didn’t come to when I was 8 because she had to go to my older sister swim meet 😂😂😂

I get what you’re saying, I can understand where you’re coming from… BUT, that being said… Berklie is old enough to understand you can’t be at every single thing she has, since it sounds like it’s a ton, cause her sisters’ things from time to time will clash with her things. You really gotta keep in mind that as long as a parent is there, evenly for each, and things have been explained to them, they won’t have a problem. It’s your momma heart that’s scared of missing out on firsts and lasts in a sense.

games are weekly, sometimes multiple times a week- competitions are only like once a month, and they work so hard for that. your little ones will remember you skipping their activities… i know it’s hard to make it to everything but choosing a favorite will affect the others.

Many adults still remember when they were a small child and their parent skipped or missed a competition or game of their sport, one of the reasons for having to choose which competition to be at shouldn’t be which one will remember least

Can Hadley do something more local? Or gymnastics? Similar skills and she doesn’t need to travel. Personally, traveling out of state for a 7 year old seems a little much when you have 2 other kids in activities.

Personally, Hadley is too young to be traveling into competition. She should just do local football games, basketball games or things like that.

Isn't Berklie going to cheer in high school? I think you should try to make it fair and divide up games/ competitions the best you can, I don't think you should prioritize being at one girls activity over the others. Obviously out of state you'll have to be with Hadley assumingly, but besides that you should make it equal.
