i make xarope de cenoura, and the lemon slices with honey or sugar also works for a soar throat, and the prayer for the evil eye also works my mom use to do it all the time but i haven't perfected it yet 🙂

The don’t eat oranges made me laugh so hard bc I have never heard anyone else do this… I would you happen to know the prayers with the olive oil. I was too young to learn and once I was old enough I had no one able to teach me. ♥️🇵🇹

my maternal grandma used to give me water with flour when I had diarrhea, rubbing warm olive oil ... and today I still make "xarope de cenoura" for my son when he has some cough

O cobranto. My grandmother would place a pair of open scissors, a comb on top, then a small spool of thread with a needle on it. This was then placed on the person and a prayer was done. I never learned, and neither did my mother😭
