This isn't a red flag at all. Anyone can suddenly start feeling unwell. He didn't leave you, he came back, which shows he respects you. Maybe he liked you and didn't want to change the plans for that day.🤷🏻♀️

I would have said “let’s call it a night and we can reschedule when you feel better.” i wouldn’t have been able to eat either. It’s how I met my bf, 20 years ago, except I was the one throwing up, he drove me home to Queens in my own car and called a car service to take him back to Manhattan! It was our first date 🤣

You mentioned you haven’t dated due to bad experiences but you see a handsome tall doctor so that’s the reason you went on a date. I would take all these signs like it’s just not your time right now and get off the dating apps. Focus on you and if someone is meant to be they will come to you. Try not to go to dates based on looks and what they do for a living. Try to humble yourself and get to know someone for who they are then set up dates later. Good luck
