@eastonuniversity: What Is the Best Career Path in Sales? Most people build their sales career backwards. They: Get any sales job. Learn that company's product and process. Hope for a promotion. Change companies. Repeat. Then three years later, after struggling to consistently hit plan, they finally decide: “Maybe I should actually learn how to sell.” Reverse it. Learn a sales process FIRST. Ideally, become certified. Then use those skills to pursue the highest-level sales position you can realistically win. Once you're hired: Your sales process + Their product training. Now you've got skills that don't disappear when you change employers. Your company should teach you its product. But take responsibility for learning how to sell. #WhatIsTheBestCareerPathInSales #SalesCareerPath #SalesCareer #CareerInSales #SalesCareerAdvice
