It’s not untapped potential SEPTA used to actually be faster than driving, trains & buses came on schedule, and walking underground didn’t feel like a horror movie. They defunded SEPTA by like 55% in 2022-23 so yea that’s why

I just moved to Philly too and there’s an app called “transit” that helps show if a septa bus is actually coming because you can see it on the move on the map

Unfortunately septa is severely underfunded. It does amazing with the funding that it has but still falls short. We need more funding from the state to support public transportation in Philadelphia.

If you meant 12:35 am septa subway doesn’t run 24/7 you prolly were waiting for the very last train of the day or it term’d and the shuttle busses were starting

yeah septa is a mess😭😭 ur never gonna get an accurate time for the trains but i highly recommend using transit app over maps for tracking the buses !

Use the septa app! You can track buses and trains in live time. It usually has a green icon and you can see a bus/train number and the last stop it left. Try that. But septa overall is on a downhill course

No you are right! Septa gas soooo much potential! AND the tracker in google maps (and the app) is totally wrong. I use an ap called TRANSIT and it tracks the trains and buses better since its uses the location of other users on the bus or train, it is way more accurate
