Same, I was discharged then ran a 104 temp 2 days later and ended up in the hospital for another 5 days on IV antibiotics. They said it was from the fetal monitor that had inserted and the fact that I was in labor for so long. Who knows.

Girl I was septic 6 days after birth. Heart rate was over 200 and pastor came in and prayed for me, everyone thought I was going to die it was scary af!! So my labor was very fast- the nurses had my legs crossed waiting on dr to get there- which caused delayed labor. They think that’s why my placenta was infected. My dr sent me and baby home before getting my placenta lab tests back- when I came to hospital in extreme pain, they said my placenta came back infected and I should have never went home. I was in hospital for two weeks. It was tough. But thankfully they didn’t have to do hysterectomy on me! Becoming septic is so scary and SO painful!! I had a unmedicated birth and being septic took the prize for the most pain I’ve ever been in!

I had a fever after I gave birth too it was 120 and it was difficult brining it down. I was on antibiotics for three days! Wasn’t til I was discharged from hospital the fever went down.

Same, i got an infection from the catheter and they kept telling me everything was normal!! I my fever literally started after I walked out the hospital after having my son.
