Their thing is, they think pleading insanity means you avoid jail. She’s still going to be locked up for the rest of her life.

They're acting like this is a landmark case where if she gets not guilty by reason of insanity then it'll set a precedent that women are just allowed to end the life of their children. This isn't even the first major case of PPP in the legal system

I think she should be not guilty by reason of insanity but that doesn’t mean she’ll walk free. If she wins she will likely be institutionalized for decades.

It's so uncommon to plead insanity too. About 1% of criminal cases in both federal and state cases are insanity pleas and out of that 1% only about 25% are successful.

I think everyone understands that….. I think a lot of people, myself included believe she was NOT insane, imo her actions were premeditated and intentional.

nobody is saying insanity defense isn’t a thing. we are saying she shows malice & forethought in her actions leading up to & during the murders & insanity defense doesn’t apply to this situation. I don’t see how that is hard to understand. I will not be changing my opinion so there’s no point in the “did you even watch the trial” comments. Yes I did & this is still the opinion I hold.
