if you stay in your boat you're good. if you're walking on "land" that is trespassing. they dont own the water but they do own the land under it.

you're not in your boat. When you walk on river bed, you my friend are on said property. We own to the middle of the South Umpqua River and we let people use it but for a limited time.

had a guy fire rock salt at me and my little brother once...he didn't like the 9mm I sent back at him and called the police. they arrested him because we were in the water and not violating any laws.

Lmao this happened to me in ky once and the lad owner was not prepared when I returned fire 😅 he caught me off guard and all I seen was a guy pointing a gun at me and my boy while we were wade fishing! Thankfully nobody was badly injured! But yeah! Always carry! Always!
