@scottaltiparmak: A lot of beginners spend most of their time learning Kali tools, exploit techniques, and Hack The Box because that’s the fun side of cybersecurity. I’m not saying stop doing any of that. I’m saying don’t let it crowd out the stuff people often overlook: endpoints, identity, authentication, email security, networking, domains, DNS, secure configuration, and understanding how enterprise environments actually work. And when I say “boring,” I don’t mean those topics are actually boring. I enjoy them too. But let’s be real, configuring email security and popping a box are not the same kind of exciting lol.
