I remember getting Valentine’s Day Carnations from a group of boys. They all snickered and laughed when I looked at the cards, reading them. Unfortunately for them I was rather unexpressive. So I read them, figured out their plan, and without looking at them, simply tossed them into the trash. They got very quiet in a second flat while I went back to my book. Never did it again.
