I cleaned a house for this lady many years ago and she taught me the best thing. put the sets in tubs with lids and put those up where the kids cant reach them and when they wanted a new set she would trade them only after the kids picked up the 1st set of toys to put thwm up for storage. was by far the most helpful tip when my kida were little and I swear those sets multiply in rhe boxes

I’m sorry to tell you but she doesn’t need new toys. Store some toys away and rotate until she outgrows them. Organize in themes. When playtime is over help her learn the children’s clean up song and reward when she picks up.

I loved making bins of toys and rotating. So there was a manageable amount out at once and they never got bored.

Training them to clean as they go can be tough. If you set a timer and ask her to pick a toy and clean up at the timer it can help.

If you are overwhelmed, she is overwhelmed. I put my twin girls toys in buckets that are sorted. I only allow two buckets at most out at one time. Sometimes they want to combine them like marbles and magnets. I guess it’s a take on the “toy library”. It helped my family clutter a lot and it made it easier for them to clean up. Honestly, their extended family were the ones that kept buying toys and overwhelmed our house. I felt bad about giving somethings away because they would get offended 😅

Check to see if donatestuff.com picks up in your area. Also, maybe try rotating her toys once a month. So she only has a small selection to play with at a time. Having that much stuff constantly around is not only overwhelming to you but also to her and I’m guessing way too overstimulating. Less is more.
