I have no issue with any religion. I myself am not religious. But people are ignoring the fact that based off the logic that Keith and most of Christian’s go off of, it’s worded in a way that makes the person think more highly of themselves over the other person (in this case the driver who died) because they believe “god was with them” in that moment, but Keith literally said he swerved out the way. So did he survive because god was with him or because he willingly swerved out the way? Based off that logic, the driver died because god wasn’t with them or the driver died because of their actions leading up to the accident? If god chose to be with Keith, did he choose to not be with the driver? Again I’m not bashing religion in any shape or form. But do christians not think about how their reasoning for things like this or even something small like eating dinner at the end of the day, makes them sound like god is picking favorites? Does god choose to not be with the hungry children that don’t get to eat dinner tonight? I hope some are able to understand. It really isn’t about “this is why religion should be avoided” it’s more “why is religion used as a way for people to think more highly of themselves” compared to any other human whether they believe in god or not.
