You mean it’s just not all Hadiths is equal to Sunnah that’s why not everything Prophet Muhammad do need to be act upon right? So how do you know a Hadith is equal to Sunnah? Just so people have some guidelines on how to know it correctly?

Assalamu alaykum. Does a Sahih hadith automatically mean that an action is haram, or can it also refer to something that is makruh or simply discouraged? For example, the hadiths about women travelling alone, wearing high heels, perfume, or the hadith about there being more women in Hell. I’m asking to understand better. BarakAllahu feek.

This principle can be applied to the way the women in the prophet’s household dressed and acted. Just because Sayyidah Fatima only wore black outside the home, does not mean we all should as well. Just because the prophet’s wives didn’t show their faces , does not mean all women need to. Just because Sayyidah Fatima didn’t have a maid for her house chores, does not mean that we need to follow when he have the money to hire help. I could go on and on….
