my daughter was supposed to go to a week of horse camp… well 6 years in now she barrel races -dad gave in a bought a horse—which meant we had to buy a truck and a trailer… but honestly best decision gave her confidence, taught her responsibility and now she is in college to become an equine vet-she found her passion

Facts 😂😂😂 I tell people this all the time. They think travel ball is expensive 😳 Try pricing a horse. Just a good, broke horse without one foot in the grave. Not to mention, a finished rope horse 😅

When I was a little girl I was obsessed with horses. I begged. One day my dad told me to look in the driveway and someone was pulling up with a pony loaded on the back of his truck. It was my pony. I can’t remember how old I was but I was under 10. I am now 46, we have 2 daughters that both barrel race. 7 horses. I have watched my kids gain so much from horses including confidence and responsibility. I told my oldest daughter if you want a new truck then you need to win to get the money.

idk man. they are heckin expensive but it keeps the kids out of trouble and nothing can put a price on my 9yo getting hander her grand champion banner by her 90yo great grandmother in front of a cheering crowd.
