k, little English lesson here, any word that has the ending cide is indicating something is being unalived. idk what barbicide is, but the fact that it ends in cide tells me that it is not something that should be ingested.

As someone who works with people with dementia on a daily basis. You can NOT leave them alone around chemicals and sharp objects. That is one of the first things I learned. Rummaging through random things is very very common. My resident aren't even supposed to have nail clippers in their rooms.

FYI, anyone can report child abuse/neglect, and anyone can report elder abuse/neglect. Even if you don’t know the person’s name or address, you can report with the information that you have.
