It’s just personal preference, not going to stop me from buying or enjoying the game but I prefer the more grounded character skins. Weapons skins they can go crazy with and I have no issues. Counter point though, Griffin has golden skinned weapons in his office in Gears 3, so technically lore accurate lol. Again, not stopping me from buying or enjoying the game, I can deal with a bit of personal eye sore without raging online about it.

Im pretty sure they said that the only skins that will be over the top are the legendary ones, if you dont like them then dont use them. I doubt that all legendary skins that they put out will be like that anyway. Cant wait for the full release.

Gears of War is kind of built around the rule of cool. Like.. who cares if it’s over the top, it’s cool as hell. The skin can’t be immersion breaking when Gears of War 3 went wild with the camoes.

trying to add realism into an unrealistic game franchise. for the last time its multiplayer! if u want immersion, if u wanna play a lore accurate multiplayer. go to gears reloaded or yk play the campaign to e day or horde mode on ur own. people need to quit complaining about this stuff. they want realism in a game where humanoid creatures rise from the ground to slay humanity on a planet called sera. its a scifi game people need to get over it

As a day one fan, I never liked the gold weapons or over the top fantasy/bright colored stuff. But I also never liked wall-bouncing gnashers. I think it's okay to have an opinion on where you think the game should go, especially when it's shifting directions somewhat. Asking for improvement is not being a fake fan or anything, it's asking for a vision of the game we haven't gotten to see realized yet.
