@builtwithtools: I haven’t done a mud pan in some time. Once I started using premade pans from @GURU.USA, I haven’t had to all that much. I watched a video of @RockSteadyTileCo using @TileCoach Official Mortar Lock Ledger. Well, I didn’t have any, so I cut some strips of foam board and glued them with @The Gorilla Glue Company. Having a ledge as a guide made it 100 times easier. So, those strips from tile coach are absolute genius. And even though my homemade version got the job done, the real deal would have been much better. Not going to do another mud pan without them. #tileshower #mudpan #showerpan #tile #shower

that's the way I was taught. is really the best way dry pack helps achieve a perfect pitched surface with no dips or hole.
