You can tell if a tank is a “friendly tank” (as an american) when identifying it by where the bore is, most russian, chinese and korean tanks have the bore at the front while american, brit, or german made tanks have the bore in the middle, we learned that to quickly identify and enemy or friendly while in combat, that and other things but that helps a lot

Does it affect the velocity of the shell? Since the backend pressure after the primer is triggered is what propels the shell wouldnt taking away some of that pressure mess with how far and fast you can fire?
