My street had water up to the car doors. You could not see the boulevards. That was a freaky flash flood. This is climate change. We are expected to have more periods of drought and flash flood rain storms in summer and warmer, wet winters. Our sewer systems are not designed for these weather events.

We had water running down our basement walls!! Outside seals are worn cause of all the violent summer storms. Hope you managed okay.

I swear rain like this, was so rare growing up. We’d obviously have some big flooding storms but I dont remember it being like this summer has been. It seems like this year its all or nothing for rain AND inaccurate weather reports too. Would be nicer to have a few days every couple weeks with light-steady rain and the occasional storm/downpour like 20 years ago than dealing with this😪
