This is the worst job market I’ve ever seen. Im 26 and you genuinely used to be able to apply to a job on Tuesday and be hired by next Friday and it took me 6 months and multiple interviews with multiple companies to get hired at my current job. This whole multiple interviews for the same job thing is new too. Something happened during covid and now with the boom of AI the hiring process has just gotten so chaotic everywhere. Can’t tell if a job listing is real or fake, can’t get through a round of 3 interviews for one job within a month, you can apply to over 100 jobs and only hear back from 5. Just know that it’s not you, you are not the problem. You will get hired eventually and it will all work out ❤️

Took me a while to realise but it’s a trap either way. Unemployed and you feel useless, demotivated and like you have nothing to offer the world. Employed and you no longer have your own free time, you’re stuck in a loop of work/home/work/home, you’re tired constantly and you start disliking management/colleagues etc. It’s a setup either way, one just allows you to trade your living breathing time for money

I’ve been applying everywhere I can since December last year. I’ve been interviewing with a company that feels almost unreal and have my final assessment Wednesday. Please pray that this works out of me and my babies.. we need this so bad. 🩷

Going on 8 months unemployed. I can’t even DoorDash because the account is deleted. Customer support won’t unlock it. 100+ jobs applied with in person follow ups and still nothing. 🤦
