@blackhillsbuilds: Life moves fast. Most days I feel like I’m trying to fit being a dad somewhere between work, responsibilities, projects, and everything else that needs done. I’m realizing more and more that the answer isn’t always finding more time. Sometimes it’s just bringing him with me. Let him wear the overalls. Let him hang out in the shop. Let him help with the projects. Let him be part of the hobbies I love, even if everything takes twice as long. I know I won’t get every day right. I’ll be distracted sometimes. I’ll work too much sometimes. But I’m trying to be present enough to notice these moments while I’m still in them. Because he’s growing up way too damn fast, and I already know I’m going to miss this version of us.
