I genuinely believe fully upgraded he is the best support in the game. The Character is genuinely immortal, you can literally do whatever you want when your AOE or ult is up and you will not die. When I play support pool divers literally don't even target me. His neutral is insane, and sure his ult is worse but it's 20 seconds long on a 40 second cooldown and heals about the same as Jubliee ult. Hes just a skillful support so support players don't understand how to play him.

supportpool enables deathball comps when ran correctly, and also opens up the wincon that is dpspool with max upgrades. the problem I have is when supportpool is played on payload defense and when the supportpool players refuses to use his mic to direct traffic

Tbh I only play him because he requires aim and has nice tech like the wall jump to get to places faster, combos and such, but yeah. One thing you also didn't mention is that he actively needs to stop for a second to get his upgrades or for two to take a picture and within that time frame his team could die because of how fast the ttk is in this game. His ults fine because of how fast you get it in theory but that was before they boosted every support ult in the season. If mantis had one ult for every two healpool has It'd be fine. He brings no cc and only a worst storm damage boost for a couple seconds which won't help because he'd need to be right besides you; it only lasts a couple seconds too. He pumps great numbers but it's not enough.
