usually a business casual attire outfit, try to avoid jeans or leggings, try to use dressy pants and then a blouse or nice shirt that doesn’t show much cleavage or anything inappropriate, also goodluck!!!

i had my interview today!! Don’t sweat it because I was so nervous the day before and I literally couldn’t sleep. 2 people were there that interviewed me and they basically started off by telling me about themselves. After that they started asking questions about me 1. Tell me about yourself, 2. Tell me about a time where you had to work as a team, 3. Tell me about a time where you had to work under pressure, 4. Tell me about a time where you had to work as a team, 5. Why do you want to work at starbucks, 6. What does customer service mean to you. Obviously it could be different questions but I would definitely practice the tell me about yourself because i think that question is more likely to be asked. also ASK THEM ONE OR TWO QUESTIONS at the end of the interview when they ask you if you have any questions for them. I asked them how long have they been for the company and how was their first day + how training would be like for a new hire

omg i jist got the job!! they ask stuff like when youve had to be empathetic..?? and how you solve problems when youre stressed its kind of just about you. youre gonna have two interviews so one with the store manager then the district manager. in my experience if u get the second interview ur basically in. the district manager just asked me about myself and the interview was like 5 minutes. i wore a blouse and slacks and some heels !

I had an interview like 2 weeks ago and passed. They asked why I wanted to work there and told me to “tell them about a time” for a lot of different scenarios like a time I disagreed with a manager, a time I gave above and beyond service, a time I had to multitask and how I was successful, etc. Come in with specific stories from your life or work experience. Try to be bubbly, they want you to have PERSONALITY— don’t worry about being super corporate. Also, it helps to mention one or two of the company values and how it compares to your values in customer service. Like, I said I really value developing a relationship with the customer.

Starbucks does the Star method. They are big on storytelling about how you handled situations in your past jobs. Open availability usually = got the job

honestly i just wore jeans and a black shirt cause that’s the uniform and it helps them see you as a worker. and rhe interview is basically about your customer service. just emphasize how you want to connect with customers and give them a good experience. they also asked me about my past work experience for like my problem-solving skills and dealing with rude or unsatisfied customers

Look up common interview questions and practice responses and even if you have to fake it, be enthusiastic and bubbly like you want this job more than anything. Eye contact and friendliness will most likely get u the job 😇 and just breathe, it’s only gonna be 10-15 minute interaction no matter what happens, it’s going to end and you’ll be A-okay! 😎

idk if they will make u do this but for me they made me try some of their coffee and describe it… other than that they just ask you basic questions regarding times u faced w/ disagreement, initiative, and communication :p

I went in joggers and a shirt from Tilly’s and got the job ✌️😭 been here almost 2 years but they’ll always ask you scenario questions if I remember correctly. Like I kept getting asked how I reacted in this specific situation, and have you tell them details. But this was before an interview with the DM was necessary so idk if it changed

Starbucks is huge in customer service so highlight customer service experience as much as you can.

be chatty and bubbly, take as many opportunities to small talk for example if at the start they as how u are instead of saying “good.” say something like “good, i worked out this morning im feeling energized” or something yk avoid simple responses. focus on customer service and satisfaction. look over the green apron service standards online and base ur answers around those values as much as you can. good luck

any black modest shirt and jeans! also i had my hair pulled up into a ponytail for both of my interviews. revert EVERYTHING you say back to customer service and connection and green apron service TRUST!! also say you work good in fast paced environments and learn quick. good luck!!
