Traveling with friends, especially sharing rooms, is a real eye opener. Some shower only once a day, some brush only once a day, some snore so bad it rumbles like an earthquake then goes into a period of apnoea scaring the shits out of me, some reuse underwear, some throw food and used clothes together….cannot lah…I just can’t.

Tip of the day. When you’re overseas with friends and they’re always late, stop waiting. Just tell them: “I’ll see you there. I’m going off first.” Trust me. You’ll never have a punctuality problem again. Once your friends realise you WILL actually leave them behind, suddenly everybody knows how to be on time. Amazing how quickly people learn.

i feel like most of the culture shock comes from travelling w your friends. some leave their bloody pads lying around, some free bleed on the toilet floor, some dont flush after they use, a sides & b sides of underwear, pee in the bathtub while they shower & nvr bother to clean or never shower for days bc its cold. i just cannot tahan. why were they raised up this way & why has nobody ever said anything abt their habits😭🫠 truly depends on ur luck lol

That’s why it’s important to travel with people that you click with. For example I am a type J (a planner) and cannot stand travelling with type P who tend to do things last min

haha... it's ok to travel with others, but have to find those match your style. best is travel together, meet at certain places for food or drinks or activities ( those that are not time dependent ) and go ahead with your own plan. I tested and at least I am happy that way. For punctual friends, I will go for time dependent activities

Mine plan everything because she insisted even if i say i wanted to help, she managed to get the time and date wrong for the train tickets and girl uses paper map for directions though she have no idea how to read them! The place was infront of us she insisted its not then whole time if we were at those food markets usually its fun to buy food and share
