Unless it’s specifically made for taller frames, I tend to go for midi lengths. Mini dresses fit me like long shirts and maxi length dresses make me look like I’m waiting for a flood

Mine are always too short because I have wide hips 😩

I’m 6’5” and love dresses a lot but almost never buy them anymore unless they’re from a tall exclusive brand. It’s not worth fighting with the proportions of a dress cut for someone a foot shorter than me 😅

Love a good midi in a pinch because no matter if it’s too long or too short it’ll still give midi. Short is out of the question because the regular length is short 😅 I don’t think I’ve ever even thought about the possibility of a floor length dress unless it was for highschool or my future wedding where tailoring feels less extravagant

My torso is long so anything with a bodice is going to make my butt look very long😭😭😭

In high school the really short, flared dresses were in style, but they basically sat on me like a shirt. I remember crying in Dillard's because I had to get ny homecoming dress from the "old lady" (not juniors) section 😅

Paryse Style | Tall Fashion :
Maxi Dresses were specifically made for Tall Women at Paryse Style. Might even be too long for most short/tall girlies.

Haven't worn one in 30 years, but I've tried on for S&Gs. The people who make them have apparently never seen an actual woman before. Or maybe I'm a freak. The waist is too high and too large, the shoulders are hilarious, the sleeves are about a mile too short, the hem is either indecent exposure or hits at the widest part of my calves. I had to wear a halter style to prom. I'm white as a ghost and looked like a bad drag queen. And it was Still too short in ballet flats. Never again. 🤣
