AESTURA face lotion — I use a lightweight moisturizer like this face lotion to moisturize and support my skin barrier. Using a moisturizer first helps reduce irritation associated with using a retinoid. 5. Retinoid — Then, I go in with a pea-sized amount of the retinoid. Retinoids can help with acne, fine lines, uneven pigmentation, and skin texture, but the key is finding a strength and frequency your skin can tolerate.
