I’ve noticed myself, as more time has passed since my DV it brings more trauma and more understanding as to what i actually went through and it’s so fkn sad and scary that it takes this much time for us to piece together what we truly dealt with!!

Girl I went through this with an ex. I was 13 and he was 19. Alwo gave me an STD that I am stuck with for the rest of my fkn life and he didn’t tell me he had it. It was going to trial and my lawyers told me how the defence attorney was going to make me out to look and to really consider taking the plea deal, which I did. Because I felt the same, it had already been going on for 5 years and I just wanted it to go away. I REGRET IT WITH MY ENTIRE SOUL. all he got slapped with was a 2 year suspended sentence and was a registered child sex offender for 7 years. Trust me babe. You got this, be strong, stand your ground and back yourself ❤️❤️
