no ones talked about a martian being the manhunter bc the martian manhunter and manhunters are completely separate. the manhunters are synthetic, they are basically androids. they have been very specific abt this so people dont get them confused. watch a video on it

manhunters were the green lanterns before the corp, the guardians made them and they ended up overtime being reprogrammed to wipe out life and they also contributed to the creation of the red lanterns. also the guardians had to kill them all and separate themselves from the emotional spectrum thus creating the green lanterns and it also explains why they convey no emotion(the non sympathetic nature towards earth and the people). it also led to emerald twilight and the rebirth of the green lantern mythos. IMO its so worth it to watch those videos they explain all the lore and some of the best story telling in dc

@Chava~: I have a theory that the manhunter is actually a rogue gaurdian . At the end of the episode hall tells john the manhunters behavior “ remind you of anyone we know?” And john doesnt seem to get it and that seems to disappoint hal a bit. On top of that the black hole teleport technology is the same as when john got teleported

i would love for it to be jon but unfortunately in this last episode they said whatever was in town didn’t have alien dna, so that rules out martian manhunter :/
