No, it actually hurts. 😭 It hurts to accept it, and it hurts even more to get used to it. I passed my matric, finished high school, and this year I decided to redo it. My brother also decided to redo his matric, and now that we’re both writing exams, the comparison feels even worse. When it comes to him, they’ll ask, “How was the paper? What was in the paper? How did you find it?” But with me it’s just, “How was the paper?” “Okay.” And that’s it. You can literally feel the difference in how much they care. 💔 I’m tired. It feels like I’ve been stuck in this chapter for years, and having to go through matric again sometimes feels like another year of torture. But I guess all I can do is trust God and His timing, even when I don’t understand it. Maybe one day I’ll understand why I had to go through all of this. 🙏🏽
