Isn't this just speculation though? I mean, there's no place in the Bible that tells us what happened to Jesus the 3 days that He was dead. 1st Peter 3:19 says that Jesus went and preached to the spirits in prison.

This is a clip I listened to the whole sermon. He’s stating that Jesus paid the price for our sins. So if we were to pay the penalty for sexual sins in hell when Jesus was there he had to pay that price for us. So I think the context matters tremendously.
