You could make the camera look like someone's phone; when the "Ready" button is pressed, the camera—with a shaking animation to simulate walking—jumps into the pit.

maybe for duos, or just a chance of happening, characters interact via pushing someone or jumping in together etc etc. it’d also be funny if u can trip into the hole.

You should shorten the cutscene a little bit (as in everyone jumping in way quicker) and add options for custom animations such as one failing a backflip or one having second thoughts on falling in (trying to grab the ledge last second but ends up falling in anyways). this is a really sick menu though. Keep it up!
